Huntington Bank in Rockford, MI was struck by lightning which destroyed the bank’s roof and resulted in major fire and water damage to most of the building. Firefighters from several departments were called to the scene after a lightning bolt sparked an attic fire, the employees were evacuated as smoke filled the building. Dan Vos Construction responded quickly to the immediate need to re-establish the branch so it could continue to service existing clients. It was decided that a temporary branch would have to be constructed within a commercial space to fully function as a bank while the original branch was re-built.
In just three weeks, the temporary branch was put in place and made operational after the fire. In the meantime, a the existing branch office involved a major re-build along with a complete commercial re-branding of the space according to the client’s new standards.
"The Dan Vos Team was Outstanding!, From the day after the fire meeting us on site creating drawings, to assisting in assessing the damage to the existing site. From the assessment, Huntington realized we would need a temporary site until we worked through our plans for the existing building. To see this Office Space being built to look like a Huntington Banking Office being transformed in 30 days fully furnished cleaned and ready for business was amazing. I have worked with some great contractors in the past and I have to be honest these where among the Best and highest of Quality. We have to thank the Dan Vos team for making this project a great success for: Huntington, Our Customers, and Our Colleagues."
