STEP Platinum Level

Associated Builders and Contractors has recognized Dan Vos Construction Company with the STEP Platinum level, recognizing our dedication to safety, both on and off the worksite. With an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of only .75 and an Incident Rating of just 1.5, DVCC boasts 574 days without a lost-time accident as of January 1st, 2010. In order to receive STEP Platinum recognition, a company must: have received STEP Gold or Platinum the previous year have a total recordable incident rate below the industry average submit their official OSHA 300A summary log submit an “Insurer Support Statement” from the member’s insurance company that supports the company’s self-evaluation score DVCC was one of only 788 ABC members to receive STEP Platinum recognition of the more than 2,100 who applied nationally (and one of only 16 in West Michigan).
