DVCC Hires New Service Supervisor

Ada, Michigan – Douglas VanDenBerge has joined Dan Vos Construction Co. as the facilities service supervisor.

In his new role with the design-build general contractor, VanDenBerge will provide project supervision, estimating and securing subcontracts for the firm’s growing facilities service department. This department handles a wide range of commercial and residential projects, including new construction, remodeling, repair and related services.

VanDenBerge brings 27 years of professional experience to his new role with DVCC. Prior to joining the Company, he worked was a project manager for Triangle Associates in Grand Rapids, where he coordinated commercial construction project from pricing to completion. He has also served as project manager and maintenance supervisor for Second Story Properties and Management in Grand Rapids, where he managed more than 40 buildings and worked on numerous downtown projects.

VanDenBerge has also worked as an electrical foreman with AES Electrical and as a service sales representative with Kone Elevator.

VanDenBerge is a journeyman electrician and holds a residential builder’s license. He currently resides in Grand Rapids with his wife, Linda, and their children.
